PAKSBAB Project

Pakistan Straw Bale and Appropriate Building (PAKSBAB) is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006, whose mission is to adapt, apply and transfer straw bale and other appropriate building methods to protect and improve the lives of the rural poor, especially those living in earthquake and extreme weather regions. PAKSBAB is promoting safe, affordable, energy efficient building systems that utilize local labor and indigenous renewable materials.
