Christine was born and raised in LakeTahoe and has spent years traveling and living abroad in Europe, Japan, and Mexico. She always returns home to the mountains, where she finds herself spiritually grounded. She believes the Lake Tahoe area to be one of the most beautiful places in the world and wants to help people create their living environments to reflect their beautiful outdoor surroundings. Christine spends as much time as possible outdoors with her family hiking, skiing, running, etc. She maintains her balance with daily practice of meditation and yoga, and is focused on being present.
Christine Stokes began her career in design over 20 years ago while attending college in Los Angeles for fashion and design and working full time for an architecture design firm specializing in commercial and residential decor. She has a strong eye for color and design that led her to work in the fashion industry as a buyer, merchandiser and salesperson. Inspired to help those around her, Christine graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Social Work in 1997. She spent the next ten years working with families and abused children, enabling her to fulfill her passion for working with people and giving back to her community. Now she has come full circle, returning to her roots of design while helping people create a positive living environment both physically and spiritually.
