With the introduction of the EnviT line of eco-friendly furniture, Nathan Anthony has made a promise to create furniture made from sustainable or recyclable materials. Since 2006, EnviT has been making a major difference in very simple ways, such as using 100% natural latex in place of harmful polyurethane foam-a smarter choice that helps to keep our landfills clear and reduce harmful carbon emissions ten-fold.
In 2008, Nathan Anthony formalized their commitment to become a more responsible partner by joining the Sustainable Furnishings Council, a non-profit coalition of furniture industry leaders created to promote sustainable practices within the home furnishings industry and raise awareness among manufacturers, retailers, designers and consumers. They believe as we do: any positive effect on our environment starts with the smallest of changes to one’s daily habits and choices.
